What is SBI YONO App?

The Yono App is an Android application. Many people may be wondering what is the full name of Yono? So let me tell you that its full name is You Only Need One (YONO). The objective of launching it is to provide different types of services of SBI Bank in one place. Both types of customers can use this app, whether they are new or old customers of sbi bank.

It has been launched on 24 November 2017 by the Minister of Finance of India, Arun Jaitley. You can download this app from playstore in only 8mb, and use it by registration.

Yono App has 100 e-commerce companies like Amazon, Mantra, Uber, Yatra, Jabong and BiJus. Also, 100 services can be used in one place.

How to download YONO SBI app?

Yono SBI Mobile App is available on Google’s Play Store. If you want, you can also download this app by visiting YONO SBI website. For this you –

First of all, open your phone’s Play store. Now you have to search by typing YONO SBI in the search bar at the top.
As soon as you click Search. YONO SBI App will open in your device, you can download the App by clicking on the Install button there.

How to register your account in SBI YONO?

After downloading the YONO SBI app, now you have to register your account in the YONO app. You can use it only by doing this. To register your account, follow the following procedure-

First of all, open the Yono app, which after opening looks like this.
To use the Yono app, you will see 3 options here.

Existing Customer
I have Activation Code

Here you will see the option of Existing Customer, click on it. By clicking on it, this type of window will open in front of you. In which 3 options will appear.

By selecting one of these 3 options, you can register in the YONO app. We will learn about this one by one.

1. Register with Account Details

By selecting this option, it opens in this way.
Here by completing 3 steps, you can enter. the YONO app.
By clicking on the Continue option, it opens in this way. Where it asks for account number and date of birth-
After interchanging these two, we click on submit option. But if you have internet banking id, then it displays a message “Customer is already enable for internet banking”, thus you cannot use this app using this option.

1. Register with ATM Card

If you do not have the facility of Net Banking, then no problem. Through this app everybody can activate Net-Banking online using your Debit Card. If we select Register with ATM Card, its window opens in this way.

Here you have to enter the written CIF number in your passbook. After this, you have to enter the account number and click on submit option. If you have internet banking ID then it displays a message “Customer is already enable for internet banking”, thus you cannot use Yono app using this option.

1. Login using internet Banking Id

We can use this type of option only if we have the ID password of netbanking. Because most people have id password of netbanking available today-

Once you click on Login using internet Banking Id, you will see this type of window. In this, you have to click on the Yes option –
On clicking yes, the following type of dialog box will be displayed. In which you have to enter User Name and Password. After intermingling both the things, click on submit option –
By doing this, you will have another window show in which you have to give your consent.
If you want to use Mpin to login instead of Password, then read the terms and conditions of Mpin thoroughly and after reading it, you click on the Next button.
Here you have to create a pin, this pin will be numeric (eg 123456) you will use it to use the Yono app in future. After creating the pin here, click on the Next button.
After this, an OTP (One Time Password) will appear on your registered mobile number. Which you have to enter here and click on the Next button. By doing this, the message of login successfully will come on your screen.
You are now registered on the YONO app, and ready to use it.
Now open the login screen and enter your Mpin to login to it. You can also use Netbanking User ID and Password to login.

How to send money from YONO SBI App?

To send money to someone’s account with the YONO app, first open the YONO SBI App. After this, enter the PIN and login it.
After login, you click on the Fund Transfer option of YONO SBI App. Now click on the option of Pay A Beneficiary at the bottom, now you enter your Internet Banking Password here and click on Confirm.
There will be three options here by confirming, select the option through which you want to send money. For example, by selecting the Account option from the account number, click on the Next button.
Now enter the Detail of the person you want to send money to. After that an OTP will appear on your number registered in the bank, type it and click on Next. By doing this you will get the message of Your Transaction Is Successful. This means your money has been transferred.
